The issue that you are experiencing is likely due to the fact that the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2071, is not designed to fit your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. This kit was designed to fit trucks from the 1990's and earlier. If you are going to try to stick with this kit, then the spacers that you will want to use are part # F2536. These are the recommended spacers based on the bracket distance you provided.
Keep in mind that since this kit was not designed to fit your truck, there will be no warranty coverage on the bags or hardware. If you want a kit that is specifically designed for your truck, you will want to look at part # F2299.
