We can help you with the components you'll need to be able to safely and legally tow your pop-up camper trailer with your 2014 Subaru Forester.
You will need a hitch. I recommend the Draw-Tite 2-inch Class III hitch # 75876 since it includes all the required mounting hardware AND since it will allow use of a sway prevention setup in the future if you ever want to add one. You will also need a wiring harness # 118467 to operate the lights on the trailer. This part gives you a 4-pole flat connector. If your trailer has electric brakes please let me know since that will require additional components like a brake controller.
I also suggest our Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which includes two sizes of hitch balls and two ball mounts.
You can refer to the two linked article for more on trailer towing.
