This oil pressure switch automatically shuts off your Kat's Heaters engine block heater at a preset pressure point to keep the heating element from burning out. Maximum pressure is between 300 psi and 400 psi.

Features:

• Diaphragm-actuated oil pressure switch automatically shuts off your Kat's Heaters engine block heater to prevent damage to the heating element
  • Compatible with frost-plug-style and cartridge-style heaters that submerge in oil
• Trip and reset pressure points can be set using included spring nuts
  • Heater shuts off when pressure rises to the trip point and turns back on when it falls to the reset point
• Form X release valve prevents air pressure buildup
• NEMA 3R enclosure is rainproof for outdoor use
• Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) seal resists oil and fuel
• Flange-mount design

Notes:

• Only use with pressure media that is compatible with NBR elastomeric diaphragm and zinc-plated steel.
• To prevent leakage, do not use with alcohol, acids, or salts.
• Reduce pressure to 0 before disconnecting the switch from the pressure source.
