How to Carry Bike Rack while Towing Tow Dolly
Question:
HI, I have class A motor home. Holiday Rambler 36ft, Gas, 2015. Towing 2017 EC Chev Volt, front wheels up on tow dolly acme tow dolly w/a60 hitch. What is the best way to haul 2 full size adult bikes? Hooked onto rv? or onto back of towed car? worried about damage to new car, and wheels dragging on ground with front wheels up on tow dolly causing rear of car angled lower. tough call?

Since the front of the vehicle will be raised off the ground slightly you wouldn't want to a hitch at the rear of the vehicle since that would angle the rack down and possibly drag the bikes.
Best option would be to go with an adapter like the part # MPG544 which has a lower hitch opening for the tow dolly and then a higher one to allow for a bike a rack to be installed.
Then you could carry a 2 bike rack like the part # TH9058 for the 2 bikes.
