To install a Derale transmission cooler on your 2010 GMC Canyon you will need one of the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM, # D13035. This will snap into the factory transmission coolers output fitting to allow you to run the coolant line from it without having to cut or flare the original fitting on the factory cooler.

When installing a transmission cooler on your vehicle you will want to measure the area in front of your radiator to find out what size cooler will fit.

I am sending a link to a page of the transmission coolers that are recommended for the 3.7L engine size on your 2010 GMC Canyon. Also, I am sending a link to a FAQ page that will have general information on transmission coolers.
