Recommendation to Control LED Bars on Trailer with Switch
Question:
Hello, im trying to find out it I can install a switch to control power on the Aux power wire coming off a 7 way connector. I want to install led pods down the side rails of the trailer but dont want them to be turned on all the time. Just want them when loading and unloading when its dark out. Would I be able to wire a switch from inside my truck to control these? Thanks

To activate the LED pods on your trailer with a switch, I recommend installing the Pollak Light-Duty Toggle Switch # PK34513.
You will want to run the power wires from your LED lights to this switch. The power wire from the switch will then be connected to the 12 volt circuit on the trailer connector. If additional wire is needed, you can use # 12-1-1, which is sold by the foot.
