Can Two Ocean Frenzy Kayaks Be Carried On Thule The Stacker # TH530
Question:
Can I use the Thule stacker to carry 2 ocean frenzy kayaks. The other two Thule carriers appear to handle only 1 kayak. Thank you

Expert Reply:
I called my contact at Thule and asked about your Ocean Frenzy kayaks, and if they will work with the Stacker # TH830.
They told me that since you sit on top of your kayaks, they do not recommend placing them on their side with the Stacker. They recommend carrying them hull side down so they don't have a problem with the wind.
You may want to look at the Thule Surf Pad # TH845000. These measure 20 inches long and will fit standard crossbars.
For tie-downs I recommend cam buckle straps like part # MPG307-9. These are 9 ft straps and include buckle protectors. For 12 ft straps I recommend part # MPG307-12.
The Bow/stern tie-downs I recommend are # TH855XT.
