Does Impact Bar of 2015 Volvo V60 Need to be Removed to Install Draw Tite Hitch

Question:

On the 2015 Volvo V60 instructions for Draw Tite, it shows re-installing the impact bar. However, on this site and YouTube videos be etrailer demonstrating installation, the impact bar is not re-installed. This is very confusing. Which is the correct method? I re-installed the impact bar, but now cant re-align the 4 T-25 screws at the bottom of the fascia. Guessing the new girth of the impact bar on top of the hitch pushes out on bumper. Any thoughts?

In the installation instructions for the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 75916 the impact beam is removed in step 3. It is then re-installed in step 8, so you do not have to worry about the trailer hitch and the amount of damage that would occur with it removed.

In the attached video for this hitch our installer does reinstall the bumper beam/impact bar. You do need to reinstall it.

Check out the attached install video to see if any steps may have been skipped.
