Can a Roadmaster High/Low Adapter be Used to Tow a Trailer

Roadmaster High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars - 2" Hitches - 6" Rise/Drop - 10K GTW, 400 lbs TW
Item # RM-048-6 is designed to flat tow a vehicle only and is not rated for use for towing a trailer so I cannot recommend it.
It sounds like you are using a weight distribution system and will need a shank that has more drop than the one you have now. If that is the case we do have other shanks with more drop you could use. If you can tell me which weight distribution system you have and how much drop you need (see linked help article) I can make some recommendations.
I have also included links to the 2 and 2-1/2 inch shanks that we carry.
