Is a Fused Wire Tap Kit Available?

Video on clinometer shows a fused wire that i want. It allows you to basically splice into an existing fuse without tampering into the wiring.

The part referenced in the clinometer video was the Firestone Fuse Circuit Tap Kit # F2526. This will let you add an accessory fuse without needing to splice into your vehicle's wiring and simply plugs into your fuse box.

I think you are going in the right direction. I would definitely replace the 14 gauge wire going to the trailer brake magnets with 10 gauge wire or larger. Usually larger than 10 gauge is hard to get into the trailer connector though. I would also…

You'd want to use the 20 amp circuit breaker like #PK54220PL unless your trailer has more than two brake axles. If that's the case you'd want to use the 30 amp breaker #38630.
