How Close to Exhaust is Curt Cargo Carrier # C18100 on a 2017 Honda CR-V
Question:
I just purchased an aluminum folding cargo carrier from you #C18100 to go with my waterproof Curt cargo bag. I have a 2017 Honda CRV and am concerned the exhaust will melt the bag. Is there some type of shield I can get to protect it? What do you think? Thanks

When we test fit the Curt cargo carrier part # C18100 on a similar 2014 Honda CR-V we found that there was 14 inches from the exhaust to the rail edge of the carrier.
For a small displacement engine like what your vehicle has that should be plenty of clearance to prevent any melting so you should be fine.
