Can I Use Passenger Vehicle Tires On My Tandem Axle Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a tandem axle boat trailer with ST205 75 14 tires load range B. The boat weighs approx. 3000/3500 pounds. I would like to put passenger vehicle tires on mostly for cosmetic purpose. What do you recommend?

I would not recommend using passenger vehicle tires on your tandem axle boat trailer. You will only want to use trailer tires that have the letters ST in the size. ST stands for Special Trailer tire, which is meant to be used on boat and utility trailers. Trailer tires have a thicker side wall and are designed for carrying trailer loads. You should always keep trailer tires inflated to the maximum PSI rating.
