Recommended Winch Wiring Kit To Connect Winch At Back Of Towed Horse Trailer
Question:
wiring a 2500-lb winch from truck battery to back bumper on a 250 ford truck, a quick connect 20foot needed cable. then from quick connect to back of two horse trailer to winch which is mounted 5foot up from trailer floor which would be a 20cable. just what I would need from winch to be two foot cable plus quick connect and winch connect plus 18foot cable to trailer ball plus quick connect 20 foot cable to battery with battery connect

I have just what you need to connect your 2,500 lb winch at the back of your trailer.
I recommend 2 of the Bulldog Winch Wiring Kits, part # BDW20206. These come with 20 ft of 2-gauge wire and the quick connects. You would not need all of the end connectors but you would have all of the wiring needed to connect your winch at the rear of your horse trailer. I verified with Bulldog that you should be just fine running that length of wiring for the winch.
