Recommended Ball Mount For Curt Hitch On 2013 Honda Accord
Question:
I have a 2013 Honda Accord I am looking at the CURT Class 1 Trailer Hitch #11681. My question is which ball mount would work best to put the hitch height at the standard 17inch height?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11681 is a confirmed fit for your 2013 Honda Accord. With this hitch, you won't be able to get to the standard 17 inch height you mentioned, however, the best ball mount option is the Curt Class II Drawbar - 2-5/8" Rise, 3-1/4" Drop - 7-1/4" Long - 3,500 lbs # C45521. This will put the base of the hitch ball at just over 13-3/4 inches so you will be within a decent towing height and the vast majority of trailers are not right at that 17 inches you referenced.
You will need a hitch pin and clip like # F-4 along with a hitch ball litke # A-82 for a 2 inch option or # A-80 for a 1-7/8 inch option.
For your vehicle wiring for your trailer, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56011. This harness plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side interior trim panels in your rear cargo area. I've attached a video of this install to assist.
