Is Trimming Required to InstallDraw-Tite Hitch # 36423 on a 2011 Jeep Patriot Sport
Question:
I have a 2011 Jeep Patriot Sport and want to know if fascia trimming is involved with the installation of the above hitch. The instructions mention trimming for the Compass, but not the Patriot.

On your 2011 Jeep Patriot Sport, there will be trimming required for installation of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, item # 36423. I have posted a drawing of the area of the fascia that will have to be trimmed.
The construction of the rear of the Compass does require minor trimming when installing this hitch also.
