If you do not already have one, you will first need a brake controller. I can highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. The P2 is our best selling controller, primarily because it preforms so well and is extremely easy to use.

If the vehicle features a 7-way trailer connector on the rear bumper, it is likely pre-wired for a brake controller. The connector would be located under the dash. If this is the case, installation will be simple. You would use part # 3035-P for a Tekonsha Brake Controller, or if your controller of choice has bare wires exiting the rear with no connector, use part # 20260.

If the Winnebago is not pre wired for a brake controller, one can easily be installed using our brake controller install kit, part # ETBC7. If the RV does not already have a 4-pole trailer connector, one will need to be installed to attach to the adapter included in the install kit. Part # 18252 would do the trick for you. Due to the length of the RV, you will need an additional 25 feet of wire, part # 10-2-1.

I will provide links to the products recommended, as well as instruction links and install details. We also have some install videos that you might find helpful. The videos show the 4-pole and the ETBC7 kit being installed on different vehicles than yours, but the procedure would be the same.
