To achieve the necessary drop with your weight distribution system in order to tow your trailer level, I recommend switching to a different weight distribution shank such as the Curt Welded # C17123. This shank has a maximum drop of 8-1/2 inches with round bar systems and 8-1/4 inches with trunnion bar systems. This will work with your weight distribution system as long as it uses shank holes with a 3/4 inch diameter. The measurement between the adjustment holes is 1-1/4 inches on center. I have attached a short demonstration video on this product for you to check out.
I have also attached a link that will take you to our available selection of weight distribution shanks that you can look through if the one provided does not give you the needed drop measurement.
Standard high-low adapters are not designed for use with weight distribution systems.
