Randy: Hey, guys. Randy here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at a very quick and easy way to really update the look of your RV. It's very popular buying an older camper and older RV and going in and kind of changing things out, getting rid of the old style, kind of updating it to a new style. What we've got here is a pull handle for a drawer from Gustafson. This is designed to work with three inch spacing, hole to hole.

So as long as yours meets that criteria, this would be an excellent replacement for your current situation. Our old one here had that nice late 90s vibe going on with it. It's just kind of scalloped ends there. It's pretty standard stuff and just by switching that out, really adds a nice look. It gives us something that we can be proud of, kind of updates everything in here, goes along with everything a little bit better and I like the feel of it compared to the other ones that we have here.I don't feel it doesn't really matter too much.

As long as it lets you open your door and close your door, you're going to be happy with it. But just the nice edges on it, the way they're really clean just gives it more of a nice quality feel. When you grab a hold of it, it feels a lot better than what the old one did. Let's take a look at a couple of measurements. Start at the top and measure to the bottom.

You look there, it's about 3 9/16". It's going to stick up over our surface about 1 1/8" and then overall width we're going to have again about 9/16" there. Now I can't think of a much easier or quicker way to refresh the inside look of an RV. Basically we're just going to have the two screws to remove here on the back. So we'll take a look at that now, walk you through it and get it installed.

Now as far as the replacement process, of course, we need to get our old handle removed.Now this is also where you're going to check to make sure that you have the 3" center. So once you open it, you look on the backside. You can see we got a screw here and a screw here. We just want to make sure that those are on 3" centers and this is going to be a great replacement. At that point, just going to use our Phillips screwdriver. Most of these are Phillips. I guess sometimes you might run into a flat head or something. But nine times out of 10, you're just going to need a Phillips screwdriver. So we're going to take both of those out. That former handle is just going to come off. So we want to hang onto those. We'll reuse them when we put our new handle in. All right. With that out of the way, we'll just take our old hardware. We're going to place that in, get that hole lined up. We'll just get it started. Once that one's started properly, let's get the other one started. Once we get them both started, we'll just snug them up. We're going to have to over tighten.But we certainly want it to be snug enough. There's no wiggle or movement to it. Now once that's, guys, that's really all there is to it. Just a quick, easy way to really update the look of your RV or give maybe more of your touch rather than kind of the old gold stuff that we had in here before. I think it's going to be a really nice handle, sticks out plenty. It'll do a good job for you.
