Will Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Rack Fit 2015 Jeep Patriot for Carrying 2 Bikes

I am thinking of buying a ¨Hollywood Racks Baja 2 Bike Carrier - Fixed Arms - Trunk Mount¨for my 2015 Jeep Patriot, and since Ive seen theres a note regarding the capacity of the back doors to sustain the weight in some SUVs, I wanted to make sure that I will not have that issue with my car. I need this to carry two bikes on a 2,000 mile road trip and I need it to be worry-free ... Thanks a lot for your kind advice!

The Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 part # HRF6-2 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2015 Jeep Patriot. It does not have any special weight capacities concerning the back door of your vehicle so as long as you stay under it's capacity of 35 lbs per bike this will work well.

For a long road trip I would recommend stopping after driving through any rain and be sure to clean the mounting pads for the bike rack as well as the paint of the rack. This will help prevent scratching.

If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
