For your 2015 Subaru Forester, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75876. This is a round tube design and has a black powder coat over an A-coat base. It has an easy bolt on installation. This class III hitch receiver will be a great hitch for your Thule Expressway bike rack and will give you more options for other accessories due to the 2 inch receiver opening.
If your bike rack has a 1-1/4 inch shank, and you no longer have the adapter, I recommend the Thule Replacement Aluminum Shank Adapter - 1-1/4" to 2" # 853-7292 along with the Replacement M6 x 16mm Flat Cap Screw for Thule Bike Carriers # 853-5787-02.
