You can tow your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 behind your motorhome if it is four-wheel drive, so long as you have a 2-speed transfer case with a neutral setting. While it is also possible to do so with a two-wheel drive version, it will take an extra step. For a 2WD with a 4.3L V6, as well as a 2WD with a 5.3L V8, you will need to have a lube pump kit installed, or for a 6.2L V8, you will have to have a drive shaft disconnect.

A base plate kit such as the Blue Ox, # BX1710, is a confirmed fit for your Chevy and features hidden reinforcements so the bracket is less visible when your vehicle is not being towed. A corresponding tow bar will be needed, and for that I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha, # BX7380. This bar will not require the use of a ball mount, as it slides into your trailer hitch receiver, has self-aligning arms to make hook-up easier and comes with safety chains. I've added a link to a video review of these bars for you to take a look at.

For your wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 4-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit, # RM-15247. This kit will allow your Silverado to have working tail lights, brake lights and turn signals while being towed, and keeps your Chevy's electrical components safe by preventing electrical feedback. You will have to disconnect the Silverado's battery while it is being towed, and to make this process much easier I recommend the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch, # RM-766. Disconnecting the battery will also necessitate the use of a 12-volt outlet kit like # RM-9332. I have attached links to reviews of each of these products for you.

An important aspect for your tow vehicle is going to be a supplemental braking system. The Roadmaster, # RM-9400, is a proportional system, which means the amount of pressure you put on the brakes of your motorhome will be the same pressure applied to the brakes of your Silverado. A stop light switch kit is going to be a requirement for your vehicle, and you will need either # RM-751421 if you do not have adjustable pedals, or # RM-751463 if you do have adjustable pedals.

Keep in mind it is likely you will also need a high-low adapter to ensure your tow bar is completely level. I have added a link to a help article on this you may find useful.
