Can the Tripod Foot of the Brophy Camper Jack CJ31 be Positioned Out of the Way

I want to load a heavy canopy onto a flatbed pickup. QUESTION: Can the tripod foot of the Brophy Camper Jack be positioned so that it DOES NOT protrude in to the lift zone of the jack? The canopy and the pickup are the exact same width.

The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks # CJ31 has tripod feet with the longer two legs sitting at almost a 90 degree angle in proportion to the smaller leg. Since they don't sit at a perfect 90 degree angle they will be slightly under the L-brackets that you will be lifting with. This should not be an issue though as the the lowest height the brackets can get to is 17 inches.

You should not have a problem with the camper sliding out when you are using any of the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks. The jack is very stable because of the tripod base. That stability will make the jack very difficult to tip to the front or the back.…
