Replacement Vehicle & Trailer 4-Pole Ergonomic Style Pigtail Connectors
Question:
Im trying to find a 4 pin female flat connector. The one I have to replace has the molded body sticking up between 1/16 to 1/8 inch to grip the female connector when connected, any help is appreciated.

4-pole trailer wiring is usually described as vehicle-side and trailer-side since the male/female description that works well for other items can be confusing when applied to connectors. The part you referenced, Optronics # A35W42B, is a 42-inch trailer-side 4-pole harness with dual brown running light wires which is why it is called a wishbone harness.
For a vehicle-side 4-pole pigtail with finger grips you can use # HM48030 or part # HM48110 for the trailer side.
You can use butt connectors # 05731-5 to make the wiring connections.
