How to Replace 6-1/2 Inch Oval Boat Trailer Tail Light without Screws
Question:
Boat trailer 6.5 inch oval tail light. How do I remove and replace it? I see no screws or bolts holding it in.

Expert Reply:
When replacing your 6-1/2 inch oval tail light like the Optronics Sealed # ST70RB that does not have any visible screws on your boat trailer, you can remove the assembly by simply pulling it out of the existing grommet. You can wiggle it back and forth to get it loose and you may need to use a screwdriver to put a bit of pressure on the edge.
Then when replacing the light, you will just snap the new light back into the grommet after connecting the 3-prong plug.
I have attached an installation video on a very similar light that will follow this same process for you to check out.
If you need the grommet you can use part # A70GB and for the 3-Wire Pigtail Plug you will use # A45PB.
