Roof Cargo Box Recommendation for 2016 Mazda CX-5 with Yakim Skyline Roof Rack

Hi, i have a 2016 Mazda CX5 with out the factory roof rack. I had bought the Skyline towers along with 48inch round bars. I would like to get a Skybox 16 but in the midst of some of my research i found out that i wouldnt be able to fit a Skybox on my roof due to the crossbar spread being more than what the Skybox can do. My cross bar spread is currently about 44. According to the Yakima website i can only fit a Megawarrior or Loadwarrior as long as a i get a basket extension for them. I really would love to get more of a skybox option. im open to any other manufacture that might fit to the Yakima roundbars. Is there anything i can do? or am i stuck to the Warrior option or a cargo bag? Thank you for your time.

So I checked with Yakima and their Skyline roof rack on your 2016 Mazda CX-5 with a naked roof should have a crossbar spread of 43 inches. That means that the Yakima long cargo boxes like the Skybox 18 part # Y07336 will fit.
This has a crossbar spread max of 42 inches, but that figure includes aero shaped bars which are much wider. Since you have round bars that means you get a bit more room on the outsides of the mounting hardware so this will fit.
