Can Timbren System be Used With Weight Distribution on 2007 Toyota 4Runner

Question:

I have a 2007 4Runner and tow a 17 foot Casita SD. Iam already using the wdh and anti sway bar. Will the installation of the Timbren system have any negative effect on the wdh? I am not looking to increase load capacity but rather reduce sag. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:

With a properly rated weight distribution system that is properly set up you should not need a Timbren. If you are still getting sag then one of three things is happening.

Either you are just exceeding the towing capacity of your vehicle which is why the WDH hitch can't keep up, your system is rated too low, or you don't have enough spring bar tension.

That being said a Timbren kit part # TTORSEQ is a fit for your 2007 Toyota 4Runner and would give you additional suspension support. It will not give you additional towing capacity though.

I attached an install video for the Timbres as well.
