Can Trailer Wiring and Backup Sensor Wiring Power Wires Both Connect to 2007 Toyota RAV4 Battery
Question:
I have a 2007 rav 4 with backup sensors. The sensor currently have a powercord connected to the battery as this trailer wiring kit. Is it safe to run another power cord to the battery if I buy this part # C56165 or do you have other options? The sensor kit on the rav looks identical for this kit but instead of having the plug the wires go to the sensor on the back of the vehicle.

You can have more than 1 power wire going to the battery on your 2007 Toyota RAV4. What you want to avoid is using the same power wire for the trailer wiring harness # C56165 and the sensor system. Each should have their own power wire.
