Replacement 7-Way Recommendation for 7-Way on Trailer With Chipped Pin
Question:
My 7-way trailer connector has a chipped prong location number 6 the right turn and Brake. Would the chip really prevent a connection or is there a easy fix? I tried wd40 and wire brush to clean....still no right brake or turn light.

The chip in the picture you sent in is why your right turn and brake circuit aren't functioning. It's time to replace the 7-way connector. We have the part # H20043 which is a 4 foot long section. Or we have the part # H20046 which is an 8 foot long section.
Or the best solution would be to use the 7-way upgrade kit part # HS381-9000 which comes with a 7-way, a junction box to make installing the 7-way easier and then also the needed connectors and conduit. It basically is one part number that gives you everything you'd need.
