Roof Bike Carriers to Fit Factory Elliptical Crossbars on 2017 Subaru Crosstrek
Question:
I have two mini cooper touring roof bike racks and want to convert them to fit 2017 crosstrek Subaru aero blade rack. Do you have a conversion kit for this?

The aero/elliptical type Subaru OEM crossbars are fairly large but many aftermarket roof-rack-mount bike carriers will fit them. All of our Subaru-friendly roof bike carriers are shown on the linked page, including carriers like the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103.
I contacted both Thule-USA and Yakima to see if either made the bike rack for Mini Cooper but this is not the case. The OEM Mini Cooper Touring roof bike rack might have an available adapter to allow installation on other cross bars, perhaps even those on your Subaru, but such a product would come from the same maker that produced the rack. I am sorry we do not have this.
