It is easiest to confirm the fit of a hitch-mount accessory by using the hitch pin hole (HPH) as the reference point. The linked article shows how to measure the exact amount of clearance needed.

If you do not have a 2-inch hitch please tell me the hitch Class and tongue weight rating from its safety sticker. A good 2-inch carrier, which provides more clearance than most 2-inch cargo carriers, is the Pro Series 24x60 Cargo Carrier # 63153. This provides 12-3/4-inches clearance from the HPH.

We include this dimension in the specs for all hitch cargo carriers shown on the linked page.
