There are a couple of magnetic tow lights that have specifically stated the anti-scratch elements of their magnets. The Roadmaster Standard Magnetic Tow Lights # RM-2120 have anti-scratch pads to protect your vehicle's finish and the Hopkins Magnetic Tow Lights - Red LEDs - 4-Way Flat Connector - Wireless # C6304 have what they call non-scratch magnets. I've attached some video reviews of these products for you.
With all of our magnetic lights, the magnets are strong enough that you can add a microfiber sham to the bottom without having any grip issues to further protect your vehicle's paint and finish.
