If by the ball hole size of the Curt Pintle Hook with 2inch Hitch Ball # C48190 you mean the compatible diameter of the hitch ball shank, it is 1-1/4 inches. You can change out the hitch ball size as needed as long as you keep this shank diameter so you can use # C48830 for a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball and # C48810 for A 1-7/8 inch option.
This is compatible with lunette ring couplers with diameter of 2-1/2 or 3 inches.
