Which Circuit of 4-Way is Split for Wishbone Wired 4-Ways
Question:
Hi I bought this trailer replacement connector and have 5 wires at the trailer and 4 at truck. My question is: which wire is spliced assuming this is a wishbone boat trailer? Also, want to wire smith trailer pvc guides with yellow/red lites at top on this trailer many thanks

The wishboned circuit that some 4-ways have will be the running light circuit. The reason for that is that it runs to both sides of the trailer.
As for which wires are what on your trailer you are going to have to trace them back to determine what they are. The standard colors are white for ground, brown for running light, yellow for left turn/stop, and green for right turn/stop.
The PVC boat guide ons you plan to install would attach to the running light circuit.
