Can Blue Ox Aventa LX be Used to Flat Tow a Lighter Weight Vehicle
Question:
The blue ox avail is rated at 10000 lbs. the curb weight of my tow vehicle will be 2700 to 3200 pounds. Is it an issue to have a bar rated this much higher than the tow vehicle. I really like the avail for ease of use.

The Blue Ox Avail part # BX7420 is one of the nicest tow bars on the market. It having more capacity than you'd ever need would not be an issue at all. There basically isn't any downside to having more weight capacity than you'd ever need.
