Parts Needed to Install an Electric Brake Controller in a 2016 Kia Sedona
Question:
Hi, Im looking for a 7wire harness kit to install on a 2016 Kia Sedona. I see the 4wire ones, but i want to power my popups brakes. Do you all have a suitable kit or can you help me get the right stuff including connectors, mounting clips, and fuses? Thanks!

To power the brakes on your trailer you're going to need the 7-way trailer connector and an electric brake controller.
To install a 7-way on your 2016 Kia Sedona you'll first need a 4-way. If you don't already have one use the Curt # C56332. It installs by plugging into a connector under the rear bumper on the driver's side. It includes the necessary fuse. Once you have the 4-way connector use our # ETBC7 kit to add a 7-way. This kit includes the 7-way connector as well as everything you'll need to install an electric brake controller.
For the brake controller the Prodigy P3 # 90195 is one of the best on the market. It's extremely reliable and has an LCD to make it easier to use.
I've linked some install videos and help articles that you might want to take a look at as well.
If you don't already have a trailer hitch on your van I suggest the Draw-Tite # 75894.
