Recommended Lift Kit for 2007 Keystone 5th Wheel that Tows Nose High

Question:

Back again..great service!! Have a keystone 5th wheel, 2007 model 290RKS. At the bed of the tow truck, it tows nose high. 7inches in front 5 inches in rear at back of the box. What lift kit would you recommend to level me out. The pinbox has been lowered and the BandW companion hitch has also been lowered. TV is a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. Thanks again for your help as always!

If your 2007 Keystone 5th Wheel Trailer has a standard, round axle, I recommend looking at the the Dexter Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 for 2-3/8 inch axles or # K71-385-00 for 3 inch axles. These kits will allow you to move the trailer leaf springs to the top of the axle, instead of below where they normally are installed. This will provide a lift equal to the axle size of your trailer.

We do also offer a few lift kits designed to work with Torflex Axles. In order to determine if one of these will work, you will need to know the type of axle on your Keystone 5th Wheel Trailer.

For example, the Dexter Torflex Lift Kit for 3-1/8 Inch Lift # K71-725-02 is designed for #12 Torflex axles with 5,500 to 7,000 pound capacities. We also have # K71-724-02 for #11 Torflex axles with 4,100 to 6,000 pound capacities and # K71-707-02 for #10 Torflex axles with 2,300 to 4,000 pound capacities.

You can also try raising the pin box on your trailer by switching to higher installation holes.
