Can Air Bag Suspension Enhancement be Used on a Towing Setup that Included Weight Distribution
Question:
I have a standard weight distribution hitch for my f150. It helps considerably but I decided to add this firestone ride rite Air suspension kit this year to the truck. Now that I have this new system, do I even need to use the weight distribution hitch or can I simply level of the vehicle out with the air ride system. If not, should I first set the weight distribution hitch as I always would and then level out the rest with the air ride suspension or the other way around?

A properly set up and rated weight distribution shouldn't need additional suspension support from an air bag kit. But if you do use the two together the way to do it is to inflate the bags of the kit to the desired PSI and then setup the WD system up after. You then would always have to use the same PSI in the air bags from that point forward unless you want to re-set the system back up.
