Extra Long Ball Mount Recommendation For 2006 Jeep Liberty With Rear Mounted Spare Tire
Question:
My Jeep stores the spare tire on the rear gate which extends about 11inch beyond the hitch receiver. My ball mount wont work with this rack unless I remove the spare—not a practical option. Any suggestions?

If you have a 2-inch trailer hitch on your 2006 Jeep Liberty you can use an extra long ball mount like part #EA40. This ball mount measures 14-5/8 inches long and has a 3 inch rise or 4-inch drop. This will work with your Curt 3-Bike Clamp-on Rack, part # C18013
If you have a 1-1/4 inch receiver on your Jeep, the longest ball mount we offer is part # C45016. It is 9-3/8 inches long.
