Is a Brake Controller Included in the Tow Package for a 2009 Buick Enclave  

Question:

I have a 2009 enclave with the tow package. I have a tekonsha primus brake controller from my previous vehicle. Do I need to install it or does the tow package include a brake controller ?

The Enclave did not include an OEM brake controller. You can certainly use your Tekonsha Primus in your new vehicle. To install the brake controller, you will need a brake controller wiring adapter, part # 3026-P. The adapter plugs into the brake controller and the port under the dash, the location of the port is shown in the instructions I've linked for you.
