Are The Coated S-Hooks Of The Stainless Steel Boat Buckle Hooks Stainless As Well?
Question:
With the stainless steel boat buckles, are the s-hooks that are vinyl coated Stainless steel as well? I have found on the standard non stainless boat buckle that I currently own the s-hook is not stainless and once the vinyl coating is compromised it will start to rust. If the S.S. model has a stainless steel s-hook that would be ideal! Thanks!

The BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Bow Tie-Down Strap - Stainless Steel - 43" - 500 lbs # IMF14393 have steel s-hooks that are not stainless. They are vinyl coated to resist rust and protect your boat's finish. The other components are stainless to resist rust as they are exposed to the elements.
