Recommended Bearing Kit for Forest River 5th Wheel with L44649 and L68149 Bearings

Question:

I have a Forest River 5th wheel. The information I got is the axles are Lippert and the bearings are L44649 outer and L68149 inner. I have a two axle trailer so I guess I would need 4 kits?? Let me know what you recommend?

The really good news is that your Forest River 5th wheel has bearings that fit a standard no. 84 spindle. We have a kit that has received very positive reviews for that application. I recommend the TruRyde Bearing Kit for No. 84 Spindle, L44649/L68149 Bearings, 10-19 Double Lip Seal # BK2-100. You are correct that you will need 4 kits to replace all the bearings on your tandem axle trailer.

For your application, I recommend the LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease - 14 oz. Cartridge # L11390. This grease is made to withstand extreme pressure, hot or cold, and intense wear and tear. You will want to pack the bearings really well with this prior to installation.
