What is the difference between wire harness c56178 and 118574. I have a 2015 Ford Fusion and there is a price difference between the harnesses. Thanks!

Curt 4-Pole Wiring Harness # C56351 offers a current output capacity of 5- and 7.5-amps per circuit, while the Tekonsha # 118574 has a lower maximum output of 2.1- and 4.2-amps per circuit. This is the only practical difference between them. Both install in the exact same manner, as illustrated in the linked video and article. If you are unsure of the power draw from your trailer go for the higher-rated Curt harness to avoid any potential for overload.
