Adapter Recommendation for Curt Hanging Bike Rack for Carrying Women and Kids Bikes
Question:
Hi, I am looking at the Curt Premium 5 Bike Rack for 2inch Hitches - Tilting. I have a womens mountain bike and 4 childrens bikes. 2 of the childrens bikes are the smallest ones. I think 12 inch Would this be a good fit? Should I do some measurements? Will I have to buy an adapter for my bike?

For womens bikes and kids bikes you really need to use a frame adapter bar like part # UB01 when carrying them on a hanging bike rack.
This allows the bikes to hang as level as possible since the bikes will have smaller frames with non-horizontal top tubes. What the adapter does is attach to the seat post and the steering stem to provide a wider and more level bar for the rack to grab. I attached a review video for this adapter for you to check out as well.
This adapter would work well with the Curt bike rack.
