Brake Controller Install Harness Recommendation for 2017 Ford Explorer

Vehicle: 2017 Ford Explorer Sport with OEM hitch and 7-pin connector. Looking at your website Im getting mixed signals regarding #90885 controller, stating not a fit for 2017 Ford Explorer. I happened onto a question replied by Jameson C, recommending this controller and #3035-P harness to mate a 2017 Ford Explorer. I know this controller works great in my Jeep Wrangler, and Id like the same for my Explorer as well. So, please clue me in, is this the right combination for my specific vehicle? Thanks.

I checked with Tekonsha again just now and the # 3035-P is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Ford Explorer. I can guarantee it's a fit for your vehicle.

The P2 part # 90885 like what you have is the way to go and would work great for your Explorer too.
