Recommended Firestone Air Springs And Compressor For 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
Hi - I was looking at getting a set of your F2430 Firestone air bags for my 2015 Silverado 1500 2WD crew cab I haul a 19foot eclipse attitude toy hauler. I like to read the comments before purchasing anything. The one issue I see more than anything in the comments is poor instructions. I am an automotive technical writer and master technician by trade. I author repair manuals as well as technician training materials. Would you be interested in an exchange of a set of air bags with/without pump it doesnt matter - your call on what you want and I will document my install and write a set of instructions including pictures for you to use as you wish? Look me up on linked in if you want. I will eventually buy the bags, but wanted to throw this your way as it may help us both. And if you want to do bags and pump ill document whatever you send to the 9s. Have a great weekend.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2430 are great quality air springs that I highly recommend. The springs for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 have a 4800 lb capacity to assist your factory suspension. They help level your headlight beams, reduce tire wear, and improve your overall control by improving your braking and steering when you are hauling a heavy load or towing. They are adjustabile in pressure from 5 psi to 100 psi.
These springs have a manual valve for each spring, or you can add the Firestone Air Command I - Analog Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor # F2158. This system will allow you to add or subract air from your springs at the push of a button inside the cab of your truck. It is a really nice option because you have a gauge and don't need to plan ahead each time you tow to add compressed air.
Thank you for your offer of assistance. We have found that videos of the installations are of great value to our customers, so we use them as a help in addition to the manufacturer instructions and that helps with the vast majority of installation issues. I've attached videos to assist you with any installation issues and our expert team is here to assist as well.
