Parts Needed to Install a 7-Way Trailer Connector and Electric Brake Controller on a 2002 Tacoma
Question:
WE HAVE A CUSTOMER WITH A 2002 TOYOTA TACOMA AND WERE SEEING IF THERES A T-1 CONNECTOR TO WIRE IN A 7 WAY PLUG? ALSO WE WANT TO PUT IN A PORDIGY P-2 BRAKE CONTROLLER, IS THERE A HARNESS AVAILABLE FOR THE CONTROLLER?

Expert Reply:
The T-One connectors for the 2002 Toyota Tacoma we carry are all 4-way trailer connectors. Like the # 118379 which plugs in behind both tail lights. You can then use our # ETBC7 kit to install the 7-way and everything you'll need for the brake controller.
There also is not a connector under the dash of the Tacoma to plug the Prodigy P2 # 90885 directly into so it will need to be hardwired.
I've included some videos that may be helpful with the install process of each part for you.
