Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 1990 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat
Question:
I have a stock, all original 1990 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat with the stock chrome bumper and stock/original spare tire mounted under bed. . Id like to add a receiver hitch. I did a search and most say wont fit this or that. Not sure if my truck has this or that. What item number would you suggest for my truck. Again, its all original. I just need a basic 2 inch receiver hitch with no wiring. Thanks!

For your stock 1990 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III - 2", # 75038. This will fit your stock truck without any interference. I've attached an installation video to help. This hitch receiver is a square-tube design and has a black powder coat finish over an e-coat base for superior rust protection. It is a bolt-on installation.
I know you didn't want a wiring recommendation, but if you do at a later date, let me know. Also if you want a ball mount recommendation or any accessories, I'd be happy to assist.
