How Is Maintenance Charge Put on Trailer Battery when Towing
Question:
I have a 12v battery on my Utility trailer that i would like to wire in to the existing 7 way plug so while im driving down the road the battery will recharge so i do not have to worry so much about plugging the charger in all the time. Do you have any advice for how to do it.

You would need to run a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) from the 12 volt accessory circuit pin of the 7-way to the positive terminal of the battery. This will put a maintenance charge on the battery but it will not charge a totally dead one.
