Timbren Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2010 Ford F-250

Question:

I drive a 2010 F350 SRW to haul a 15000 lbs fifthwheel RV with a kingpin weight of 2400 lbs. I am interested in a product to reduce the suspension sag due to hauling the RV. The Sumo helper Springs appear to meet my needs at a rated capacity of 2800lbs but have read some advice on your website suggesting the Timbren suspension enhancement system rated at 8600lbs. I like the fact that the SumoSprings are in constant contact with the rear axel but I dont want my empty weight ride to be affected as may be the case with these springs. My hesitation with the Timbren springs is that it appears that the suspension must be significantly compressed before engaging these springs leading to the sag I am trying to avoid. Would you have any advise that might make my decision easier? Thank You!

For unloaded ride quality you really want to go with suspension enhancement that does not make contact at all times. The Timbren kit part # TFR250SDF is going to be the best option as it does not contact when unloaded.

This is the lower capacity kit at 6k. The 8,600 lb kit would be much harsher and would not be what you would want.
