Mounting The Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit w/ Fan In 2013 GMC Sierra

Hello, I have a 2013 Sierra 1500 5.3, 6l80e, 3.42 ratio, HD tow package. I tow a Rockwood 2109s TT, 4000lbs. empty. I do a lot of mountain trips in hot weather, would like to know best place to mount a D13960? a. Remove stock cooler, replace w/13960 in same place in front of radiator? b. Leave stock cooler alone mount 13960 in front of passenger fender wheel well? c. Remove stock cooler, mount 13960 in fender wheel well use it by itself? Thank you and any advice would be appreciate.

For your 2013 Sierra 1500, I recommend mounting the Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit w/ Fan, -6 AN Inlets - Class V, # D13960, using your second option. I'd leave the stock cooler alone and mount the Derale cooler with fan in front of the passenger wheel well. The stock cooler location will allow that cooler to function at its potential and then you can add the Derale cooler, which can function almost anywhere with its attached fan to further cool your transmission. This gives you the best option since you have the space for both the stock and the aftermarket coolers.
